Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Elections

Rahab Mwikali is the new maendeleo ya wanawake chairlady after she was elected unopposed. The chairlady position was also contested by the immediate former chairlady Rahab Subow and her first vice chair Lucy Karimi who both stepped down in favor of Mwikali. And as Willis Raburu reports intense last minute lobbying advised the withdrawal from the race by the two in order to have Mwikali carry the day.
