Makueni man recorded brutally assaulting wife wanted by police
Police are searching for a Makueni man who was captured on video assaulting a woman said to be his wife.
The video has been doing rounds on social media with the man accused of beating up the wife for being unfaithful.
“This is assault! Even if the woman is his wife he should not have beaten her,” Makueni County Police Commander Joseph Napeiyan said.
The victim is currently in hospital with serious injuries.
Members of the public who may have vital information that may lead to the arrest of the Makueni man have been urged to report to the nearest police station.
Kenyans online expressed their outrage with a majority raising concerns on why the Makueni man has not yet been arrested despite his face being clearly shown in the video.
