Makueni: Over 60 Ethiopians arrested for being in Kenya illegally

Police officers have arrested over 60 Ethiopian nationals who are in the country, reportedly without documentation.

Eight more people were arrested on Saturday, a day after 52 people were arrested in the Kiboko area of the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway during a sting operation.

The incident was confirmed by Makueni Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan, who said 28 foreigners were inside a lorry headed to Mombasa.

They revealed that there were 24 others being held inside a house in the Kiboko area after being interrogated.

The 24 were arrested and taken to the Makindu Police Station after police raided the house.
