Malili Ranch Probe

The Directorate of Criminal Intelligence wants the Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama and 5 other individuals arrested and charged over the sale of Malili ranch where the government plans to build the Konza ICT city. In a letter to the Director of Public Prosecutions, the CID states that Muthama and his accomplices conspired to defraud shareholders of 1 billion shilling ranch. And as Sylvia Chebet reports, the CID also wants the former Information Permanent Secretary Dr Bitange Ndemo charged for abuse of office.
