Man, 49, accused of defiling his daughters ages 4&6 arrested in Eldoret
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations arrested Luka Rutto alias Cherambach, 49, on suspicion of defiling his two daughters, ages four and six.
The cops believe he committed the crimes while living alone with his two children after his separation from his wife.
According to a police report obtained by Citizen Digital, teacher noticed that his six-year-old daughter had difficulty walking and was frequently crying.
Attempts by the teacher to elicit additional information from the young girl were futile.
“Yesterday, a PP1 teacher at the local school where the girls attend, noticed something unusual, in how the six-year-old was behaving,” the police report reads.
Teachers would also notice that her four-year-old sister, who attends the same school, struggled to walk.
“The teacher immediately informed the school’s headteacher. After talking to the little girls, they said that they only lived with their father, after their mother left their home, a fact the area assistant chief confirmed,” the police said
The school immediately alerted the sleuths, who swung into action, escorting the two minors to the Iten County Referral Hospital for a medical examination, where it was determined that they had been defiled.
Their father was arrested shortly afterwards and is being held in police custody pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
