Man allegedly impregnates Class Six daughter in Siaya

Police in Siaya County are searching for a man who is alleged to have defiled and impregnated his 16-year-old daughter in Wambusa village, Gem Sub-county.

The man is alleged to have began defiling his daughter while she was in Class Two until recently when she conceived while in Class Six and was forced to drop out of school.

The girl made the claims after her mother was summoned to school over her health condition, with a medical check up confirming that she was indeed pregnant.

Akala Police Station OCS Jared Nyaosi said a search for the suspect, who is a boda boda operator at Akala trading center, is underway.
