Man arrested for allegedly defiling two nieces in Makueni

Police in Nzaui sub-county, Makueni County on Friday arrested a 25-year-old man alleged to have repeatedly defiled his two nieces.

The suspect, Mutunga Fifty, is alleged to have taken advantage of the girls at Kawala location, Maviaume village.

They are orphans and are currently living with their grandfather who is a divorcee.

The two girls were taken to Matiliku Health Centre where the doctors at the hospital confirmed that the two had been sexually assaulted.

Speaking after the arrest, Kawala location chief Nicodemus Masila said the girls aged 10 and 12 years old respectively revealed that their uncle sneaked into their room on several occasions and defiled them both.

The suspect was taken to Emali Police station and will be arraigned in court once investigations are complete.
