Man arrested for allegedly killing his 10-month-old step-child for urinating in bed
Jack Omolo, 25, a murder suspect accused of murdering his 10-month-old step-child under mysterious circumstances, has been arrested by detectives in Bondo.
According to sources, the suspect kicked and killed the baby in April after he wet his matrimonial bed.
He is then accused of stuffing the child’s body into his wife’s carry-case before sending her away, in an incident that has rendered locals speechless.
When the child’s mother arrived at her parent’s house, the body of the child was found, prompting a manhunt for the suspect who had gone into hiding.
Omollo was arrested in Nyang’oma sub-location within Central Sakwa location in Bondo sub-county on Thursday night.
According to Mr. William Oreme, acting chief of the Central Sakwa location, the suspect had been eluding the police trap for the past month and had managed to elude capture.
The suspect will be arraigned in court, according to the local chief, who stated that the investigation into the matter has already been completed.
