Man arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting 2 children after argument with wife

Police in Elgeyo Marakwet County on Wednesday arrested a man suspected of sexually assaulting his two daughters following an altercation with his wife at Kaptagat area.

Speaking to Citizen Digital on phone, Keiyo South OCPD Moses Kanyi said the suspect allegedly assaulted the two minors – aged 9 and 10 – while his wife was away.

According to Mr. Kanyi, the children later reported the incident to neighbours who alerted the police and the suspect was arrested.

The OCPD further urged parents to look after their children properly to avoid the occurrence of any such incidences in the future.
