Man arrested for sodomising 13 pupils

A 35-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sodomising 13 children from a school in Kaptembwa estate, Nakuru County.

Cyrus Nyamora is accused of coercing the male children, who were between the ages of 8 and 15, to his house before sexually assaulting them.

Linet Maingi, the head teacher of the school, said they alerted the parents of the children after noticing they slept throughout the morning.

“The children used to report to school each day with blood-shot eyes and would sleep throughout the morning. This led us to suspect something was amiss and we alerted their parents,” said the head teacher.

The suspect would allegedly trick the children by telling them that he was going to help them with homework and studying.

The victims would go to Nyamora’s house on the weekends where he would perform the beastly act on them.

Nyamora reportedly told the children that he would kill them if they dared reveal his secret.

Police have indicated that the man was using one child to lure in other children where he would then offer them tea laced with drugs before taking advantage of the school children.
