Man arrested  for stabbing expectant ex-girlfriend

Police in Makueni County are holding a man at Wote Police Station for allegedly stabbing his expectant ex-girlfriend three times.

Makueni OCPD, Benjamin Onsongo, said that the duo were in a relationship that ended negatively, something they suspect could be the reason for the attack.

The man inflicted serious injuries on the lady’s forehead, stomach, and  arm.

Onsongo condemned the act and cautioned the residents against engaging in acts that violate the law.

The OCPD noted that the suspect is in police custody and will be arraigned in court as soon as the investigations are complete.

The injured woman is receiving medication at Makueni Level Four Hospital.
