Man beaten to death by brothers for killing wife

A 45-year-old man from Ugenya in Siaya County was killed by his in-laws Tuesday, May 9 night after allegedly beating his wife to death.

Boaz Ochieng died on the scene after the angry brothers to the wife attacked and beat him mercilessly at his home in Odiado village, Kagonya sub location.

Confirming the incidence, area Assistance Chief, Francis Onyango Baraza, said that the deceased had a quarrel with his wife, Celestine Achieng’, before battering her to death.

“According to reports from residents, the man also forced his wife to consume unknown poisonous substance which contributed to her death. This irked the brothers’ in-law,” the local administrator narrated to Citizen Digital.

The bodies of the deceased were removed to Ugenya Sub County Hospital  mortuary.
