Man Beheads Neighbour, Walks Around Carrying Head

Residents of Karundu village in Mukurwe-Ini, Nyeri County, were left in shock after a man beheaded his neighbour before they (the residents) pounced on him and beheaded him too.

Two other villagers, who were also attacked by the assailant, are fighting for their lives at Mukurwe-Ini district hospital after sustaining deep machete cuts.

Villagers say the 36 year old Robert Wachira attacked and beheaded his neighbour as he was tilling his farm.

Wachira then allegedly walked around the village with the man’s head in his hand during the bizarre incident.

He then tried attacking two other men who accosted him.

The angry villagers later cornered the man about three hundred meters from where he committed the murder and also beheaded him.
