Man charged with defiling three minors in Kibra

A Nairobi-based business man on Monday was arraigned and charged with defilement of three children aged between 8 and 10.

The 50-year old man, Albert Nchabera Ongera, is alleged to have defiled the minors between February 1st and February 28th this year at Kibra in Nairobi County.

However, the suspect did not take a plea after the Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi ordered the investigating officer to present a new charge sheet.

The court ordered the investigating officer  to amend his charge sheet since he had disclosed the identities of the minors contrary to Sexual Offences law.

The accused is out on a police Sh80,000 police bond pending plea taking.
