Man charged with stealing hospital cabbage

A man was on Thursday, June 22 arraigned before Eldama Ravine Law Court and charged with stealing a cabbage valued at 40 shillings.

According to the prosecution, Robert Kihara Ngumo, committed the offence on the 21st of this month at 1830 hours.

It is alleged that he committed the offence at Mercy Mission Hospital farm within Eldama Ravine in Koibatek sub County within Baringo county .

And in Makadara Law Courts, a man denied breaking his wife’s ribs after she allegedly delayed to serve him dinner.

Kennedy Ochieng appeared before Makadara Chief Magistrate, Heston Nyaga, and denied causing grievous harm to Caroline Wangui on the 30th of May this year.

Ochieng denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of Ksh 60,000 or bond of Ksh 150,000.

The case will be heard on October 15.
