Man denies threatening to kill KTN news anchor

Lawrence Joel Nyamo, alias Kepha Omanga Boundi, has pleaded not guilty to charges of threatening to kill KTN news anchor, Joy Doreen Biira.

According to the charge sheet, it is alleged that on the 15th of January this year at around 7:00 pm, Boundi directly sent a message to Joy Doreen Biira’s mobile number .

He is alleged to have demanded that Biira ensures Aaron Ochieng, who is accused of stealing her car, is released from prison or else he would kill her in cold blood.

He pleaded not guilty and was released on a cash bail of 300,000 shillings.

The case will be mentioned on the 23rd of this month.
