Man drowns in Machakos County Government dam

A 24-year-old man on Sunday drowned in a dam in Matuu, Machakos County.

Yatta OCPD Eric Ngetich said the man was swimming at the Malikiti dam which was ug by the county government two weeks ago.

The body of the deceasedwas retrieved from the dam after a two – hour search by local divers and taken to Matuu Level Four Hospital morgue.

One of the local divers, Charles Matheka Nduvaurged the county government to equip with necessary live saving equipment
