Man, Girlfriend Hospitalised after Taking Poison Over Marriage Proposal

Reports indicate that the man had threatened to commit suicide if he did not get to marry the woman.

The two are said to have had differences over the marriage proposal on Monday evening prompting them to take poison.

Neighbours heard the two shouting for help afterwards and rushed them to hospital where they are currently recuperating.
