Man hospitalized with missing teeth, head injuries after failed suicide attempt

A 30-year-old man is presently receiving treatment at the Kabarnet Referral Hospital in Baringo County following a failed suicide attempt.

Peter Ekai on Monday astonished many locals who were watching a football game when he suddenly jumped 30 meters down from the Kabarnet stadium.

The man lost two teeth and suffered serious bleeding from injuries in the head and legs, and was immediately rushed to hospital.

Speaking to Citizen Digital from his hospital bed after the incident, Mr. Ekai said his life had taken an unexpected twist and that he is presently facing a lot of challenges that he feels he cannot withstand hence the decision to end his life.

He is however recuperating well at the facility.
