Man Jumps Off From Sixth Floor after Stabbing Wife

The couple is believed to have separated for some time and had gone for arbitration at a lawyer’s office when the man turned on his wife.

Gideon Koech, a businessman in Eldoret town did the unthinkable by jumping off KVDA Plaza, one of the tallest buildings in the North Rift town.

He was at the 6th floor with his estranged wife Priscah Cherop where their lawyer had invited them for arbitration.

Afterwards, it is said that they left together, but a few minutes later, his wife was heard screaming.

He had turned on her and stabbed her several times, left her for dead as he lept through the window perhaps with an intention to commit suicide.

He hit the hard pavement below and died instantly.

The injured woman is currently receiving treatment at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.
