Man Killed By Elephant In Makueni

Kilili Chief Titus Mativo confirmed the incident stating that the elephant is one of the five that has been causing havoc among residents in the area.

In another incident on Tuesday morning, a woman in  Kavingoni, Makueni County was attacked by a different elephant that left her injured.

She is currently receiving treatment at Makueni General Hospital.

Makueni Senator Mutula Junior had peviously said he would ensure that the Kenya Wildlife Services fence the Makueni area to prevent wild animals from killing people and destroying crops.

The residents now want action taken to prevent more deaths in future.
