Man killed by his 17-year-old step-son after quarrel with mother over infidelity

A man was Sunday night stabbed and killed by his 17-year-old son after picking a quarrel with his wife in Mikindani, Mombasa County.

According to a police report on the incident, the boy who is a student at Kajembe High school sourced for two kitchen knives from their house and stabbed his step- father severally on the stomach, chest and the face and disappeared to an unknown destination.

The deceased was then rushed to Mikindani medical centre where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The incident was reported to the police by the boy’s mother.

“Efforts to trace the suspect are underway,” reads the police report.

The body of the deceased was moved to the Coast General Hospital.
