Man kills daughter, 16

A 42-year-old man is being held by at Adungosi police station over allegations of killing his 16-year-old daughter after he found her having sex with her boyfriend at their home in Akobwait village.

Confirming the incident, Teso OCPD Paul Odede said the suspect, Cleophas Emodo, was going to the latrine when he heard a commotion in the bathroom.

Odede further added that the suspect is said to have channeled his anger to his daughter who fainted after being beaten up mercilessly and pronounced dead on arrival at St Joseph Amukura Hospital.

The body of the former student at Chebukaka secondary in Bungoma County has been taken to the Busia County referral morgue awaiting postmortem.
