Man shot dead outside US Embassy in Gigiri, Nairobi
A man was on Thursday shot dead after he reportedly stabbed a security guard manning one of the entrances to the United States Embassy at Gigiri in Nairobi.
The US Embassy, through their Twitter account, confirmed the incident though refusing to divulge further information.
“Confirmed: Shooting incident near the Embassy. No Embassy personnel were involved. We refer you 2 Kenyan authorities 4 further details.”
The injured guard has been rushed to hospital.
