Man Thrown Into A River For Failing To Pay Ksh.20 Fare

According to eye witnesses, the man is said to have been involved in an altercation with the conductor who subsequently pushed him out of the PSV which at the time being driven on a road along the river bank.

Residents of Langas estate in Eldoret town luckily were able to pull the man out of the river having suffered only minor bruises.

Members of the public later held demonstrations protesting the ill-treatment of the man so far identified as  “Musa”.

It took the intervention of Uasin Gishu deputy governor Daniel Chemno to calm the angry crowd.

The conductor has since gone into hiding but the vehicle has been impounded by police.
