Man with nails in his head dies, family slapped with Ksh.300,000 medical bill

A man from Meru who had 2 four-inch nails driven into his head has died at the Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi.

Reports also indicate that the family is now expected to pay a Ksh.300,000 medical bill, after the deceased’s seven-day stay at the facility.

Family members told local media that they are unable to raise the money.

The man was attacked in Meru by assailants apparently known to him and rushed to Maua Mission Hospital before being transferred to Nairobi.
