Martin Luther Kings Children Battle Over Medals

The children are fighting over the ownership of his 1964 Nobel Peace prize medal and his bible

The feud pits King's sons, Dexter King and Martin Luther King III, against his surviving daughter, Bernice King.

The King’s estate has sued Bernice King seeking a court order for her to turn over the medal and the bible.

According to the King’s estate, Bernice had signed a 1995 agreement giving it control of King’s possessions

The two siblings voted to sell the medal but Bernice is opposed to the idea

US President Barrack Obama used the Bible to take the oath during his second inaugural ceremony.

According to sources, the court heard arguments from each side on why it should rule in their favour.

A trial is set for February if the case is not settled before then.
