Marwa orders arrest of security firm owner linked to bankers murder

Coast Regional Commissioner Nelson Marwa has ordered for the arrest of the security firm owner whose five security guards allegedly tortured and murdered a banker at Nyali Centre in Mombasa County.

Marwa says the security guards who assaulted David Wokabi who works with CFC Stanbic bank after he was allegedly found relieving himself at an undesignated area did not have security skills and public relations.

This comes just a day after family and relatives of the diseased converged at Agha Khan Hospital in Mombasa island to pick the body before being airlifted to his home town in Mwea area in Kirinyaga county.

While calling for justice, relatives of the late Wokabi said that their kin was brutally murdered by people who knew him well because he was working as bank manager in the same location.

Addressing a press conference in his office at Uhuru na Kazi, Marwa also ordered for the closure of four night clubs in Nyali for allegedly promoting sex and prostitution further urging the county government to revoke their operating licenses.

Marwa also warned that business men found engaging in shisha business will also be prosecuted.
