Masinde Muliro University Closed Indefinitely

This followed a fight with boda boda operators which was provoked by students beating up one operators before setting ablaze his motorbike

Two of the students sustained serious head injuries after they were attacked by boda boda operators near Lurambi market along the Kakamega-Webuye road.

Trouble at the campus started when a group of students barricaded the Kakamega- Webuye road after some of them were allegedly stopped from sitting for exams despite them paying their exam fees.

Police were compelled  to use force to disperse them.
