Matiangi Calls for Progressive Politics in Nyamira County

Matiang’i urged political leaders to put aside their political differences and work together for the greater good of development and people in the county.

This comes after claims that he influenced the recent parastatal appointments made by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The CS asked those criticising him to stop and instead rally their support behind Governor John Nyagarama’s county government.

On his part, Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama said he was ready to work with all elected leaders in the county to bring ideas and progressive development agendas for the sake of Nyamira county residents

They were speaking at Nyamira Central SDA church during a fundraiser for the church.
