Breaking: Matiangi to release 2017 KCPE results

Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i is set to release the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results this morning.

The results will be released at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) in Nairobi.

This comes after the Ministry on Monday dismissed a leaked notice indicating that the results would be announced on Tuesday (November 21).

A total of 1,003,556 students sat this year’s KCPE exams. The highest number since the introduction of national exams.

A media invite to the event was sent out minutes to the event.

The minister first paid a visit to State House where he met with the president.

“Received K.C.P.E. 2017 results from Education Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i at Harambee House, Nairobi,” tweeted the president’s main account.
