Matiba Seeks 9million Compensation From State

Veteran politician Kenneth Matiba is seeking at least 9 million shillings from the state as compensation for the illegal detention and torture he underwent while crusading for a return to multi-party democracy. Matiba moved to court Monday morning arguing that the democracy he fought for was not a threat to the public. Sylvia Chebet has more details.
