Medical Students Set Lorry Ablaze Over Colleague Killing

The student is reported to have been knocked down and killed instantly by a lorry that veered off the road at the college’s entrance.

During the protests, the students set ablaze the said lorry and further destroyed property of an unknown value within the institutions.

While speaking to the press, the students decried the poor state of the road near the institution adding that there is need for bumps to be erected to avert such accidents.

Kisumu County OCPD Musa Kongoli had a hard time calming the students.

The OCPD, however, assured them that all the appropriate measures will be taken to ensure the driver of the lorry, who is still at large, is arrested and charged in court.
