Meru Leaders Threaten to quit Jubilee Coalition

Leaders from Meru region have for the first time come together in a show of might to pile pressure on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee government amid claims the head of state has sidelined the region. More than 80 local leaders have rallied against what they term as discrimination by jubilee despite the region having voted overwhelmingly for the coalition. And as Francis Gachuri reports, Senate Majority Leader Kithure Kindiki who is also the senator of Tharaka Nithi County is in the crosshairs of the meru leaders
