Migori man arrested after allegedly defiling 13-year-old daughter

Police in Migori County on Monday morning arrested a man accused of defiling his 13-year-old daughter at Sagegi village in Suna East.

Area Deputy County Commissioner Daniel Mutiso said preliminary investigations as well as hospital tests confirmed that the Class Six pupil was indeed defiled by the suspect identified as Johannes Ouru.

He added that the minor’s family was yet to reveal any further information from the tests including whether or not the man actually impregnated the minor.

Mr. Mutiso also stated that the suspect will be arraigned in court once investigative agencies gather the relevant information needed for prosecution.

The suspect, according to the deputy county commissioner, is also allegedly wanted for other crimes which are also under investigation.
