Migori: Man dies after taking a concoction given by a witchdoctor
Police in Uriri, Migori county are pursuing a woman and a witch-doctor over the death of an 18-year-old man who died after consuming a concoction offered by a witch-doctor.
Tonny Odhiambo reportedly consumed the concoction alongside several others in a ritual that was meant to catch a thief.
Citizen Digital understands that Odhiambo died upon reaching home, a few hours after consuming the concoction.
Pamela Nyaboke, a suspect who is on the run had reportedly enlisted the help of the Tanzania-based witchdoctor to recover property that had been stolen.
The deceased was among several people who were suspected of the theft before they were required to drink the concoction.
Police officers based in Uriri said they are pursuing the woman who hired witch-doctor.
She reportedly hit the road after learning about the death of the 18-year-old.
The body of the deceased has been moved to Migori level four hospital mortuary pending autopsy and police investigations.
