Migori MCA claims his life is in danger

A Migori County MCA has claimed that his life is in danger after allegedly receiving verbal threats from officers working for the Migori County Government following his vocal criticisms on issues affecting the county.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, South Sakwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) said he reported the matter to Mingora Police Station under OB4//7/12/16 on Wednesday, November 7 at 3 PM, and is now calling on police to carry out investigations into the matter.

He, however, maintained that he would not be cowed by the threats and will continue performing his oversight role.

The legislator is expected to record a statement with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday, December 8 over the alleged threats.
