Missing brothers found dead in Nyatike bush

Bodies of two brothers who went missing on Thursday, January 19 were on Friday morning found dumped in a bush in Aloma village, Misiwi Sub location, Nyatike Sub County.

According to initial investigations by police, the two might have been killed by strangulation.

Julius Ogogo, 24, and Michael Oluoch, 26, went missing from their Aloma village home and efforts to trace their whereabouts culminated in the discovery of their bodies.

The bodies were found by a resident who had gone to the grazing field to tether his donkey.

The disappearance, according to the family, was planned as they went missing during the final round of moving household items to a new place their parents were moving to.

Nyatike Police Boss said that investigations have since been launched to establish people behind the brutal murder of the two.

The bodies of the two were removed to Migori Level Four Hospital mortuary.
