‘Missing’ KDF Spokesman, Col. Owuoth, is busy at work

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Spokesperson, Col. Joseph Owuoth, is safe and sound.

Col. Owuoth, who confirmed the authenticity of a military document in National Super Alliance’s (NASA) possession said that he was not missing.

Speaking to Citizen Digital on phone on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, Col. Owuoth said that he was okay and on duty despite reports indicating that he had gone missing.

Reports had also indicated that Col. Owuoth was sent on a compulsory leave after he confirmed that indeed the military documents NASA leaders had made public were authentic from KDF but quoted out of context.

NASA leaders from Nyanza led by Prof. Anyang’ Nyo’ngo had claimed that Col. Owuoth was last seen on Friday, July 28 and that he went missing while travelling to his home in Koru, Kisumu County.
