Missing taxi operator found dead in Nakuru

Taxi operators in Nakuru are in shock after they found a fellow driver whom they had been searching for, for the last three days.

The body of Didimus Bitange was found dumped at Sobea along Nakuru-Eldoret road.

He was reportedly found with marks on his neck and there are suspicions that he was strangled to death.

His counterparts claim that the deceased was last seen picking up an unidentified woman on the day he disappeared.

The car he used has not yet been found and there are fears that the woman may be involved.

Cases of carjacking in the Nakuru town have been on the rise.

The taxi business in the county attracted tuktuk operators after they faced similar challenges of kidnapping and killings.

The body of the deceased has since been taken to Nakuru Municipal mortuary awaiting postmortem.
