Molo Livestock Sleeping in Houses over Cattle Theft

The lament that they have suffered huge losses as a result of these attacks.

Police officers in the area have not been able to adequately tackle the banditry menace which has seen over 20 families lose their livestock.

The residents have said that they have been forced to form groups to patrol the area at night as a security measure.

Areas which have been affected include Kiambiriria, Mona, Muchorwe, Chandera and Ndenderu.

The increased theft has forced most farmers to accommodate their livestock in their living rooms as a security precaution.

They are now appealing to the Government to increase number of police officers in the area as well as intensify patrols especially at night.
