There was panic when Mshihiri arrived at the village and started engaging in extraordinary rituals before instructing his members to put his body in a casket and carry it around the village seven times while singing.

Mama Fatuma Omar Soud confirmed that she invited the witch doctors to come and assist the village to rid witchcraft off the area which has caused the residents to languish in poverty.

The villagers alleged that despite Loma village having bright students some of who are talented in sports, most of them have dropped out of school.

She said that some locals have been subjected to sexual molestation by demons at night thus necessitated an exorcism.
