Moi University, Main Campus has been closed indefinitely following students’ unrest relating to upcoming governing body elections.

Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu is now accusing Kiambu Governor William Gitau Kabogo of “various crimes” which he claims to have been committed in regards to the illicit brew menace in Kiambu county.

Gichugu Member of Parliament Njogu Barua has claimed that his life is in danger owing to his move to fight illicit brew.

Two students were on Sunday stabbed to death at Moi University – Eldoret West Campus, Emirates area in Uasin Gishu County over a love triangle.

It is 11 days to the much anticipated U.S. President Barrack Obama’s visit to Kenya and the final preparations are being done all around the capital city with security being the main priority.
