Moses Kuria arrested after uproar over woman’s alleged assault

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been arrested after a woman claimed he assaulted her.

He is currently being held at the Kilimani Police Station.

”Nilichapwa na Moses Kuria tarehe nane mwezi wa December tukiwa kwa jumba la Royal Media Services. Nilikuwa nimeitwa show ya Kiririmbi kudiscuss mambo ya BBI,” Joyce Wanja said in a video that went viral on social media.

According to her, Moses Kuria assaulted her because she faulted comments that he made in Kiambu during a fundraiser for orphaned children.

”Aliongea maneno ambayo haikuwa inaambatana na event. Tena aliongea ile haifai kuongelewa mbele ya watoto,” she added.
