Mother, children injured after gangsters set house on fire

A middle-aged mother and her three children are nursing serious burns at the Makueni County Hospital in Wote after a night attack by gangsters.

The three were badly burnt after gangsters doused their house in petrol and set it on fire at Mutulani Market in Kalamba Location, Makueni County as they slept on Tuesday night.

Confirming the incident, area chief Lazarus Muoki said police have launched a manhunt for the assailants.
