Mother Delivers Triplets Despite Abortion Attempts

Rael Cheptebkeny says that after learning that she was pregnant, the thought of an abortion crossed her mind for fear that she might not be able to take care of the babies due to financial strains.

Cheptebkeny, now a mother of six and hailing from the remote Kapchepkok village in Nandi County, says that she comes from a poor background and thus the fear to raise children.

According to the medical supretendant at the Kapsabet county referral hospital Dr. Ismael Ayabei, the mother delivered 2 boys and 1 girl weighing 1.5 kgs each.

Cheptebkeny is now appealing for help from well wishers to aid her raise her children.
