Mother hospitalised in Kericho after losing son in Ethiopian airlines crash

A family in Kericho county is mourning the death of their kin who died in the Ethiopian Airlines crash last Sunday.

The deceased identified as Cosmas Rogony, worked as a medical engineer and was in Ethiopia to oversee the installation of medical equipment.

His death dealt a double blow to the family when the mother collapsed upon receiving the news.

The loss of her son was even more devastating as she had also lost another child, Richard Rogony, in the Douala plane crash 19 years ago.

Richard was a crew member with Kenya Airways.

Relatives said that they are waiting for the government to inform them how they will receive the remains of their loved one from Ethiopia.
