MP collapses in Parliament

The Isiolo Member of Parliament, Joseph Samal, has been rushed to hospital after collapsing at Parliament Lounge.

The MP was relaxing at the Parliament Lounge ahead of the afternoon session of the National Assembly where members are set to debate the nomination of Wafula Chebukati as the chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and six other commissioners.

The MP was rushed to Nairobi Hospital for treatment.

However, details on his condition remain scanty.
