MP warns students, teachers against cheating in exams
Nyaribari Masaba MP Elijah Moindi has called a meeting with all school principals in Kisii County to enlighten them on the new strategies by the Ministry of Education to curb exam irregularities.
Speaking at Mobamba Primary and Secondary schools where he commissioned two modern classrooms and inspected a Ksh1.2 million community driven dormitory project, Moindi asked the institutions in Nyaribari Masaba to guard against exam cheating since it would compromise their recent good performance.
Moindi disclosed that the construction of 20 community driven modern domitories had been completed and a similar number of dormitories are under construction in primary schools within the constituency.
Mobamba Primary School Head Teacher Peter Nyang’ate commended the National Government Constituency Development Fund Board (NGCDF) for the two modern classrooms, noting that the students can now study in good conditions.
