MP in court for conning counterpart Ksh 7 million in Land Deal

Embakasi North Member of Parliament James Mwangi Gakuya was arrested on Wednesday evening for allegedly conning his Makadara counterpart Bernard Mutura Ksh 7 million.

Mr Mwangi is accused of acquiring the money from his fellow legislator through a fraudulent land deal.

He is expected to appear before court on Thursday.
